| At First, Mike figured on the usual shave job
- just your basic custom makeover. Each step along the way of this so-called
"mild build up", Gary and Jimmie would suggest further delving
into more custom work - each facet of the process got more attention than
anticipated. No problem, Mike just smiled with each new turn of events,
and was quickly becoming aware that the Chevy was out of his hands. When
Gary suggested that the top should be lowered just a bit, realization
set in, and mike just sat back and let the boys do what they wanted.
The fact that Jimmie Vaughan played a major
part in the creation of Exotica has lead many people to automatically
assume the car is his. While Mike is both the owner and financier of
this pearl of beauty, without Jimmie's input and overseeing of the build
up, Exotica would not have come to be. Nevertheless, Mike Young is more
than proud to have such ao car as this, and to have such a friend as
Jimmie Vaughan.
